New Psych/Shoegaze Pop: Boy King Islands
My friend just sent me a link to Melody’s Echo Chamber on Soundcloud. Not knowing anything about it, I googled it and - lo and behold - found a link to your post on it on Youtube. Then, I started digging around and fell in love with your site. Very cool shit, man!

The album’s release date got pushed back but it should be sometime in September now.
I used to record as Caural for labels such as Chocolate Industries, Mush, Plug Research, Sound in Color, blah blah blah and have since decided that making electronic music is boring as hell for me now. Sooo, I moved on to doing some rock stuff. We are in the midst of recording our third album with the same lineup - me on guitar, drums, vocals, some bass, and piano, and Jason on guitars and keyboards. This round we’re using Stuart Bogie (Antibalas, TV on the Radio, Iron & Wine, Superhuman Happiness) on horns, and Matt Lux (Isotope 217, Iron and Wine) re-appears on bass - he plays on the 5th cut on Sun Worship, “Feel So Young”.
Anyway, if you’re feeling it, we’d be honored if you posted a little something :) Thanks for sharing great music!
